When something confuses us, we hurry to think and analyze. But often thinking more does not bring us closer to clarity. Sometimes it begins with pausing, and asking what we are feeling right now.
Emotional balance is not the absence of difficult feelings. It is having room enough for every feeling to be part of the experience, without rushing to push it away or fix it.
Some seasons bring us to where the old path no longer fits, but the new one is not yet clear. Pausing to notice what is shifting within may help the next step appear more honestly.
Sometimes what keeps us stuck is not that we feel nothing, but that we do not yet have language for what we feel. And when something is gently named, it often begins to change on its own.
We can answer at once what others might want. But asked "and you?", there is often a long silence. Not from having no answer, but from listening to the voices around us until our own grew quiet.
